How can your business benefit from technology

These days pretty much every small businesses has at least one computer with internet access, e-mail and a suite of expensive Microsoft software loaded on it, but how much good is this actually doing for business? The information at your fingertips, and the speed with which you can communicate with customers and suppliers is indeed truly awesome in comparison with 5 years ago, however is it giving your business an edge on your competition? The answer is probably no. The reality is that this technology is now the norm, you will certainly miss it if its taken away, and you...

The tell tale signs of a virus email

Despite the daily advance software companies are making in the fight against viruses and spyware, there is still no system (yet!) that is perfect and the odd virus can slip through into your inbox. Every website owner can take inspiration from at least one of these and maybe use some of the features for their...

As a designer, my number one pet hate is Times New Roman. Whenever I see it used it makes me cringe. As we all know Times New Roman is the default font used by most programs (for example Microsoft Word) and using it makes your document look completely unstyled. Times New Roman makes it look as if no thought has been put into the styling or design of the document, as if the author can't be bothered. While doing some research for a client of ours I came across this Clinical Trials site. The developer has obviously not put any...
