About Us

Connexion was established by James Stratton in 1994. His vision was to harness the capabilities of technology to deliver IT solutions that create genuine business value for his clients.

Today we are proud to be the trusted IT partner of mid-size businesses of up to 800 users throughout the UK, delivering IT support, IT consultancy and IT services.

Understanding your business objectives is always our first priority, as we believe the effectiveness of your IT should be clearly measurable and aligned with your business goals.

We have a particular specialism in working with highly regulated professional services companies and as such our clients include many law firms, pharmaceutical businesses, financial services companies and care service providers.

Working closely with our customers’ in-house IT Managers, our knowledge and experience, coupled with our highly structured and managed approach to delivering IT is paramount in ensuring our clients can maximise the business advantages technology can offer them, whilst carefully managing risk around issues such as cybercrime, breaches of confidentiality, data protection and GDPR, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as the SRA, MHRA, FCA or CQC.

Standards & Compliance

We take the trust that our customers place in us as their IT support provider very seriously. Under Data Protection law us having access to our customers systems makes us their ‘Data Processor’, our clients therefore are reliant on our standards of information Security for their own information security and compliance.

Not only is it our Job to advise customers on how to secure their systems and data, it’s our job to make sure we operate to the highest standards with our own information Cyber security and compliance.

Connexion are Cyber Essentials plus certified. This means that we have implemented the Cyber Essentials controls and that we have been independently audited and certified. The Cyber Essentials standards means that we have implemented Cyber Security best practice throughout our business.

 Information Security

We operate an ISMS - Information Security Management System, to continuously manage the security of our business information not just our data. All Connexion staff are CBS checked and trained on our Information Security policies and procedures as well as completing Generic GCHQ approved Information Security modules.

  Privacy

GDPR is a data protection law that governs the use of personal data relating to EU citizens. We've updated our Privacy Policy to comply. We also have a new Data Processing Addendum (DPA) for those who may require it. For further information on this please email info@connexion.co.uk

James Stratton

James StrattonManaging Director

James is passionate about technology and how it can transform business.  Having worked with hundreds of businesses in many different sectors over the last 25 years he has a huge amount of business IT knowledge that he enjoys imparting to Connexions customers.

James is responsible for Connexions strategic development and also still enjoys a role in consulting and sales and marketing

Majo

Majo MiklovicTechnical Director

Majo is our in-house technical guru. He has over 15 years of IT experience working in services, project management and innovation.

Majo contributes to the general business planning regarding technology and systems required to maintain company operations and competitiveness in the marketplace.

He is also still involved in 3rd line support and project management

Rob

Rob LevertonTechnical Services Manager

Rob has worked as an IT technician and project manager with Connexion for 14 years before moving into his current role as head of the technical services team.

Although Rob comes from a technical background he’s very much a people person and he is exceptionally good at building excellent working relationships with our customers and his technical team to deliver service excellence to our clients.

Catherine

Catherine PearceFinance Director

After successfully completing her BA Hons degree in accountancy and finance in 1995, Catherine has worked within the finance function for a number of varying sized businesses.

Over the last 6 years she has gained extensive knowledge, particularly in SME finance and currently is responsible for all financial matters at Connexion. With a real drive to build not only a strong internal finance team, Catherine also has a passion in ensuring that Connexion's customers benefit from a strong business relationship.
